Stepped Chamber

A decrease in the diameter of the final section of the chamber.
INCREASED RELIABILITY
The beginning section of the chamber has a larger diameter. This allows the cartridge to easily feed into the chamber, even in extreme circumstances.
MATCH GRADE ACCURACY
The tighter tolerances and consistent placement of the round lead to greater accuracy.
INCREASED VELOCITY OF AMMUNITION
Due to the tighter tolerances of the chamber, when combined with a well-supported chamber, the stepped chamber can support ammunition used at higher velocities.
CLEANLINESS
The stepped chamber drives excess gases through the front of the muzzle, resulting in less blowback into the pistol.
Red Dot Ergonomics
The RDS ergonomics on the Walther PDP are designed to make the switch to the popular red-dot sight system easier and faster for RDS shooters. The RDS ergonomics have been engineered to allow shooters to locate the red-dot instantly when presenting, achieved through pinky pressure and offhand support.
The PDP grip angle is designed for a natural aiming position, which, coupled with the innovative RDS ergonomics, allows lightning-fast acquisition of the red-dot.
