Optics Ready

Each PDP is designed for red dot sights. When mounted deep in the slide, the PDP's excellent aiming characteristics can be fully utilised. Simultaneous use of co-witness sights is possible. This allows the illuminated dot of the optical sight to be perceived quickly and unconsciously.

Thanks to the special shape of the clasp, red dot sights can be integrated almost seamlessly.

Furthermore: The special shape at the end of the handle provides support for the little finger and assists in the instinctive interpretation of the weapon – like an invisible steering wheel.

Modularity

The PDP is the most modular and versatile pistol Walther has ever built: Picatinny rail, optics ready, side-changeable magazine release, three barrel lengths and two grip lengths, each with three backstrap inserts. This makes it ideally suited for any service application.

The PDP's open sights use standard mounting dimensions. The aftermarket offers virtually limitless options when choosing a sight. With a magazine funnel, the Performance Duty Pistol becomes a high-performance athlete.

Reliability

The stepped chamber seals the cartridge case reliably. This allows the PDP to extract more muzzle energy from the ammunition and reduces powder residue in the weapon. As a result, the PDP shoots better for longer. PDP: "Made to be shot!"

Safety devices

The loaded indicator on the extractor signals whether a cartridge is in the chamber. Furthermore, the trigger, firing pin, and shooter safety (disconnector) provide even greater safety.

Scope of delivery

Two magazines, a loading aid, backstraps in sizes S, M, and L, and a cover for the interface for optical sights. Each PDP comes with an ambidextrous bolt catch, a side-replaceable magazine release, and a polygonal barrel.

A generously sized, high-quality gun case in PDP design is included.

The SCS can potentially operate indefinitely using an internal, rechargeable 20,000-hour battery meaning under even moderate exposure to bright light, you will never need to change batteries again. The SCS also includes an intensity override function which locks the optic into a high brightness mode for 30 minutes and a low power indicator, which will signal if charging is needed upon system start-up.

Solar Failsafe™

Solar Failsafe Technology is one of many innovations featured on solar-equipped Holosun optics. With Solar Failsafe, if your battery fails you always have a backup power source when natural or artificial light is available. Solar Failsafe is activated while in Auto Mode where reticle intensity is automatically adjusted based on the amount of light the solar cell receives. In brighter conditions you have a brighter reticle and in lower-light conditions the reticle will step down in intensity to match any lighting conditions. On models equipped with a super capacitor, it is possible to run the optic, indefinitely, in daytime and night conditions, by maintaining a charge through the Solar Failsafe System all without a battery.

Multiple Reticle System

Multi-reticle System (MRS) equipped Holosun optics allow you to determine the type of aiming point you want to use when you want to use it. Holosun optics equipped with MRS let you select a fast sight picture for shorter distances with a 65 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot (rifle optics) or a 32 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot (handgun optics). The large circle can help you obtain a sight picture faster, allows for a hold-over reference, and helps to guide your eye to the 2 MOA dot. The large ring can be deactivated leaving just the 2 MOA dot for an uncluttered sight picture and increased precision. Regardless of your application, Holosun’s Multi-reticle System offers the ultimate in optical sight customization for sportsman and professional users alike.

Super LED

Holosun Super LED technology includes Red, Green, and our latest Gold Dot LEDs providing options that match various environments and personal preferences including red/green colour blindness with our Gold Dot. Super LED technology provides a versatile range of reticle intensity settings from night vision-compatible to daylight bright. Holosun Super LEDs have ultra-efficient power usage creating battery like as high as 50,000 hours on certain models. Our Super Green LED is designed to match the wavelength of light that the human eye is most reactive to.

Multilayer Reflective Glass

Holosun’s use of Grade 5 Titanium in certain Elite category optics and laser devices results in unparalleled strength and durability. Holosun Grade 5 Titanium has more than double the tensile strength and has five-times the fatigue strength of 7075 Aluminium. Grade 5 Titanium is also able to withstand the corrosiveness of seawater making Holosun Titanium model optics and lasers suitable for use in maritime environments.
